I would not call that an awesome example, it's ok, but I'd pass personally.

OP, Look for one that looks like this:

    That's Nikki's (satomi325) FYB gal. So hot.
    Thanks for the rec! Haha

Here's a better photo of her. She's around 750g here.

The combo has kept price well because awesome examples are harder to come by (breeders keep them, or they rarely see the market), and it is still fairly rare in general. Also, it really has to be one of the most powerful 2 gene snakes out there for breeding.

As for 2013 Fire females, this girl was $250, but I would have paid more. Quality deserves a bump in price.

My point here, is shop the animal. You may have to pay a grand for a super nice Fire YB female, and she will be worth every penny. Or you may get lucky and find a better price. Either way, shop the animal.

If a vanilla YB female is $1000 - $1200, how come my 450 gram vanilla mojave female won't sell for $700? Are YB combos just that much more sought after?

To the OP, I sold both of my exceptional fire females for $350 shipped. I've seen average to above average females for $200 - $250. Buying the best you can find is the smart idea, because the best parents make the best babies.

I have as yet to see a fire YB in person, but the pictures in this thread...WOW.
