This is my Fire YB, and frankly I consider him the best one I have ever seen (folks can argue, but I will not listen ). He was $900 in 2011 from Mark Petros. In person, the yellows/oranges on him are crazy. The combo has kept price well because awesome examples are harder to come by (breeders keep them, or they rarely see the market), and it is still fairly rare in general. Also, it really has to be one of the most powerful 2 gene snakes out there for breeding.

As for 2013 Fire females, this girl was $250, but I would have paid more. Quality deserves a bump in price.

My point here, is shop the animal. You may have to pay a grand for a super nice Fire YB female, and she will be worth every penny. Or you may get lucky and find a better price. Either way, shop the animal.
