BC I don't want to muddy my collection by having lemon and normal pastels. I wouldn't fine right selling a pastel as a lemon if I'm not 100% sure he is. Same reason I won't mix butters and lessers.

I sincerely believe the names are all a marketing thing. I don't think its a big deal, but that's my opinion.

I would really pass. Like others have said, it isn't about the name, it is about the quality.

My 2012 Female Pastel (500g) and my 2010 Male Super Pastel (1100g) are top quality (in my opinion). Here they are so you can see what I'm trying to explain. People are going to by the better quality animal, not the name.

    WOW!!! BEAUTIFUL girl!!!

Yes - If I saw these snakes side by side (this pastel and the one OP posted) for sale, despite the OP's being a lemon pastel, I'd take this one WITHOUT a second thought. Even if she had a higher price tag.

    Re: Lemon pastel

I know if I'm going to buy a pastel or a combo I won't personally care at all what "brand" it is, just that it and it's parents are HOT.

This is exactly the point I was trying to make. Great bloodlines are the most important thing.

Yeah 4/10 tops for me. A pastel should at least have some good yellows at such a small size.

    Lemon pastel

IMO, the Lemon line is already pretty muddied up at this point. I remember when I got into BPs, and NERD had Lemon Pastels for sale that were actually nicer than a lot of other Pastels available, and priced accordingly. They were bright yellow, with solid black and not much blushing. Now, though, people have bred everything to everything so the Lemon name doesn't carry much weight anymore.
