I might be able to find out at the next show here in Pittsburgh. I sold chris a few ball pythons threw another vendor about a year ago. spoke to chris on the phone a few times, real nice guy and I'm glad to hear that he got his snakes back. don

If he did in fact buy them from someone else, my guess is that his defense attorney will ask for a plea deal if the perp starts naming names.

If he didn't, well, I know some folks who have very aggressive hots he can go play with for a while.

Re: Stolen snakes at Hamburg Show.

I hate to say it, but why would the true thief be stupid enough to try to vend the snakes at Hamburg? I mean, there are dumb people and then there are DUMB people. This guy would have to have pebbles for brains to bring them there if he hadn't bought them from the thief.

Either way, major major props to the people in charge of the Hamburg show.

Ask anyone in law-enforcement, there are crooks, and there are DUMB crooks. Guess which ones spend more time in jail?

Also, I read another news article or on FB that more of the stolen snakes were found at the perp's girlfriend's house, so IMO the "I just bought them off some dude" story doesn't hold up.

I spoke to a vendor that knows chris at the Pittsburgh show sunday. chris purchase a reptile from this guy before, but didn't know him very well. he is a local to that area.
if you haven't done so, this shows you why all your snakes should have photo I.D. as yours proof of ownership.
