And a question about sexing since I'm not an expert: is it better to probe adults for a more accurate sexing since I've read some adults can actually hold in their hemipenes? That's why popping younger snakes is easier because they don't have the strength/control to "hold themselves in"?
I learned to pop by watching videos and now I can easily pop snakes that are young. about popping adults I had never herd of them holding the hemipenes but my 1st time popping an adult snake was hard because the bp wouldn't stay still so I sexed female, later that day I re-sexed when the bp was calm and popped a hemipene out. but it is definitely hard to pop adults I just don't know how to probe.
