Sudden explosion of everything (Literally)
Remember I mentioned rescuing that ball python? He's been with me for about a week.
WELL I was sleeping nice and sound when I smelled something funny, so I got up. I noticed the snake out and about in his cage, which is unusual for him.
That's when I noticed that he
1) urinated everywhere. A LOT. Dark yellow-brown color that soaked the paper towels.
2) Pooped
3) Shed
4) passed a really hard, considerably sized urate
The cage itself now smells really bad from this sudden explosion. I had checked his cage not even two hours ago and there was nothing there.
Now I am awake at 2:30 AM cleaning and disinfecting the snake's cage.
Responsibilities suck!

Well, at least you know that everything works the way it should. Hopefully next time it won't be all at once.

My retic is in my room, and there have been times when he's woken us up with his farts and defecation. ...it's like the joke goes....'if you're all alone and someone farts, do you laugh or scream?' XD
Mine's bigger.

Some of mine seem to time everything a day apart so I get to clean every day. Then they flip the water.

Re: Sudden explosion of everything (Literally)
Pandora finally pooped, peed, urates, everything FINALLY for the first time in the 6 weeks I've had her. In my bed. Twice. :/
it was ok though (but more ok in hindsight). I was starting to get worried.

Sometimes if they do it all at once, you get lucky and they manage to wrap all the poop and urates neatly in the shed skin. It only happened once, but I'm hopeful. My big normal male did everything and made a little rolled up parcel out of his shed, right in the corner where all the pee was.
On the down side, he's a big water drinker and can pee 100+ grams in weight with no warning.
