Is something wrong with my Brazilian Rainbow Boa's scales?
Okay, so, I got a Brazilian Rainbow Boa about a month ago. Everything seems fine with him, his humidity is perfect, only thing that could possibly be wrong is that his cage gets damp from the humidifier that I use for him - which I'm working on fixing. Anyway, he just shed (it was KIND of a full shed, it was coming off fully and not in pieces but I decided to help him get it off even though he seemed to not be having too much trouble), I basically just slid the shed off of him very very carefully while soaking him in warm water, it broke off into about 3 pieces but I believe that was my fault for not being gentle enough. I figure now that I shouldn't have helped him at all since he didn't really need it, but now he has these clear looking scales coming off or something on 2 parts of him? I don't even know what to call it... I thought maybe it could be from him scratching himself since he has a rough water bowl, maybe leftover shed (although it doesn't look like it to me), or maybe damaged scales from me helping him get his shed off. I'm fearing the worst of everything for the most part - but I'm really not sure and I'd really like someone else's opinion on it. He's my baby and I want him to be perfectly healthy. I've taken a picture here (I know it's hard to see but he moves around a LOT so it was the best I could get).

To me it looks like retained shed. I would wait until his next shed, whatever it is he might just shed it off... If you're super concerned, I'd say take him to a vet, but it just looks like a patch of retained shed. Don't mess with it too much.

^^^ x2.
If he's eating and defecating alright, wait for his next shed and see what that does.

If the humidity was perfect don't help with its shed. It does not need your help, well shouldn't. I think it is stuck shed too which means the humidity was not perfect.
Do you have a bowl large enough for it to soak itself? They really like to soak. From you saying you soaked it tells me you don't. The snake knows what it needs and if it needs to soak it will.
What is your regular humidity?
My brb is over six feet and has a xlarge corner bowl like the one in the link. I and my snake really enjoy it. He is in it all the time even with the high cage humidity. He uses it more than his hides.
