Because carpets are so easy to cross breed its really more common to have mixes nowadays then not. Even ones that seem pure might not be.

I would LOVE a jungle carpet but after taking care of my friends baby for a few weeks, the aggression steered me away. But of course I have ball pythons and a dumerils boa so I'm used to super calm temperaments hahah

That's a nice one! You have a female lined up for him?

My Irian Jaya Carpet shows zero aggression. She is a beast at feeding time though. Her sister was on the nippy side but, honestly I expected both to be very nippy at such a small size.
If you have room for one and want it don't let the nippy babies steer you away.
And, my CP is every bit as curious and active out of the cage as my Peruvian Long Tail.
I should start sourcing display enclosures for both of those. Once the Peruvian QT time is up I'd love both in the livingroom.
I catch both watching me from their enclosures pretty regularly, not so much with my BP's.

And, to the OP: Love the bright yellows in your snake

That's not true. They may be a little snippy as neonates but with regular, gentle handling they are fine. I have 5 carpets, 1 full grown, 2 that are semi grown and 2 neonates. I've been given 1 love bite so far. That was from the female Bredl that travailed from Fla and got stuck in Indy for an extra day due to tornadoes. Give them a chance.
