I've flown to Australia before (direct from LA - Sydney in '92), and it was actually a very nice flight! Also VERY long, but they gave us a fake night-time, along with 3 meals and a couple of movies. I don't really get the whole fear of flying, though, so I guess this is irrelevant to you two.

Anyway, I've been wanting to go back ever since - and this would be one heckuva way to do it! Sadly, I lack both the money and time right now.

What does the $6250 pay for? Would it be cheaper for 2 people to go together then separate.

Covers everything but food, starting in LAX. Sharing a room saves a few hundred dollars, but my bet is that it's full now - I was #11 yesterday morning.

Surprised there were any slots left. I saw the original facebook post too and was wishing I had cash. I'm betting if this becomes an annual thing then the slots will go almost instantly, as people will have saved up for it. Congrats to those going, I'll just have to join the ranks of the insanely jealous for a year or two, lol.
Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?
