    So is it normal

Is it normal to see a snake breathing? I don't remember noticing it so much until today ... Now I'm worried about RI

Is it young? Or stressed out? I have noticed that some new arrivals when they are young and nervous, you can see the breathing.
If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.

Snakes will typically breath a little faster when they're nervous. Wouldn't you breath a little harder if you had some giant predator standing over you?

yeah, I sometimes see mine breathe if I pick them up too quickly, and when they're in feeding mode. It's usually because they're scared or worked up, just like us humans

My 0.1 RTB has been coiled up relaxing on top of her hide for several hours. I can see her take a very deep breath once every 12-15 seconds.
