Low white spider or something more?
He just looks like a nice low white spider to me.

I'm not experienced, but it looks somewhat like an enchi (stinger) bee to me, if there were another gene at play. That would explain the yellow going up the sides.

I'm voting a low white spider also. There are combos with sides like that, but the pattern usually gets tweaked
I don't think it looks like a stinger bee, the pattern isn't nearly close

I do know the breeder and I purchased several Hypos from him. Could hypo be in Tobys background?? I'd have to ask.
I do know that Toby is het for Carmel, but that shouldn't explain the low white sides...... would it??

Spider enchis have less lines and they tend to me more banded. I'd say its a BEAUTIFUL low white spider. Gorgeous either way

Yes him being het. Caramel could absolutely explain why he looks a little "different".
Recessive traits even in the het. form alter the appearance of the animal.

OK, then. That would explain it. I've never seen a caramel spider. I have two sub-adult females that are het for caramel. Maybe in a couple of years I'll see one of my own!
Thanks, EVERYONE, for you input!

More than likely it is just that he is low white.
I have not heard of het Caramel having a visual effect, but who knows.
As far as other genes, Fire is one that notoriously causes low white, but yours does not have the pattern or color for that. Stingers tend to have some white, and are a different base color.
