Further, I wouldn't recommend breeding a normal male at all unless you're trying to prove out a dinker project. Assuming you end up breeding, shell out $100 or probably less these days for a male pastel or a male spider to put with whatever female you end up with, it'll make your project babies easier to sell or rehome. If you acquire a female but you don't want any more than two snakes, you really shouldn't breed at all, because you never know how quickly if at all you'll be able to sell the babies.
