Re: Brand of Racks for Ball Pythons?

I LOVE My RBI sweaterbox and CB-70 racks. I'll probably get another one soon for all my new additions that I'm getting.

I use Boaphile Ballroom racks. I just bought my fourth one. It took 5 weeks. They have 2 rows of 4in Flexwatt. They have 4 levels instead of the 3 for other similarly sized racks. I've been really happy with them.

I have 5 CSerpents racks and I am totally pleased with them. Well made and hold heat good, plus Chris is one of the nicest guys i've met in the reptile world. If you don't have one or haven't heard of them, give them a shot. Very good product.

Re: Brand of Racks for Ball Pythons?

We have three racks....my husband has two animal plastic racks, which are pretty versatile, which I love about that. However, my fave rack is still the custom made black pvc rack that buddy of mine had a friend of his make. I love the size, the way it looks, and the way it keeps perfect heat and humidity. He had two of these racks, 14 tubs apiece. He shrunk his collection and sold me the extra rack. After building my own racks outta melamine in the past and later switching to pvc, Ill never go back to melamine again.

Mainly because we are working out of our spare bedroom. If it wasn't for my husband, I would not be able to move them around. They are just really hard to move once they are all put together. I mean, I understand that there is no way to make them any less heavy but for the space I have to work with, I wish that maybe I would have chose a different style or go the economy rack way. Occasionally we have had some ASF hoppers get loose and they get trapped under there. It is a nightmare moving the racks to get to them or moving them for any reason actually. Since we have carpet for flooring, its not like I could put them on rollers to help either.
