I agree with both the above, except that all my boas also seem to prefer slightly cooler temps. I keep my temps at 78 and 88.

Be careful of how often you feed!! Please always remember that boas are not balls and should not be fed like balls. Babies are fed every 7-10 days up to a year, juvies are good at 10 days for another 6 months or so, then up to 14 days by the time they are 2 - 2 1/2yrs. And they don't need as large a prey item either. We offer what will not leave a noticeable lump really at all. Less is better with boas.

How old is the snake you are getting and how often is it currently being fed?? Pictures would help too....
