    Tricky Ovulations..

Most of the times it is fairly easy to tell when a female is ovulating for most of us. Then there are the other times when it is harder than usual. I figured I share how we confirm a questionable ovulation's here at Action Reptiles.

    Obvious Ovulation's

    Tricky Ovulation's

As you can see the tricky ovulation's are the ones that leave you guessing. So what I tend to look for to confirm a fem ovulation is what is known as tail suck. This is best seen when lifting up the females tail you will see an inverted (V) as you will see. All 3 pics of the tricky ovulation's are actual confirmed ovulation's as you will see in the following pics.

I know a bunch of people here probably already know this but I figured it wouldn't hurt to put the info out there to those who are new at breeding or have trouble telling when the female has ovulated. I hope this comes in handy and helps at least some of you out..

Hope everyone has a great season..

This is awesome! I have had several girls go this season but there are a few now that are stumping me. Thanks for this post. It will hopefully make it a little easier now to tell.
