Interspecies Tank Item Use

I have a Magnaturals ledge (made from that whatever that stiff foam they're made from) that was being used in my crested's tank. I no longer need it in there, so I was wondering what I need to do to disinfect it and use it in my bp's tank? If I can use it at all? Or should I just put it in the box of crestie tank stuff and hang on to it if I ever want to use it again... Thanks!

I suppose a lot of it depends on whether the BP is heavy enough to pull it off - I have never used one so I'm not sure how strong the magnets are.
