Nah. The lord and savior Flying Spaghetti Monster can take credit for everything! Be touched by his noodly appendage!

But being serious here.

Re: Removed from the Oaklahoma twister thread
Hi,
I have split this content off to allow for discussion without disrupting the original thread any further.

I don't ever expect a link to one of my videos to survive on any forum, because it is beyond my purview to dictate what should, and should not be allowed.
Now, in response to your comment:
This member of your forum did not contact me in any fashion. If you click the "graph" icon beneath my video, you are directed to places that the video has been posted online. Youtube provides links to their content providers when their videos are imbedded, or linked to on another site. I did not contact this user, and this user made no attempt to contact me. I came to this forum because of the link on my video, and decided to post because, well, of the defamatory nature with which my video was handled, and because I too own a ball python. Her name is charlie.
You did not simply, or respectfully respond, but with contempt - removed the video link - Here is what you said "Hi,
Let's try and keep the obviously fishing for a response and argument crap the heck off a thread intended to deal with a tragedy in a responsible manner eh?
Go post that rubbish in the quarantine room if you must.
dr del"
Now, the manner in which you responded to this link is clearly not benign, or civilized. Not to mention that the consolation of being allowed to post in a quarantine room, is segregation which administrators must grant permission for your membership to view. This member posted this video as another means of bringing people together. That is the message of the video. And had you viewed that, you would have clearly seen that human hands are the ones moving rocks and steel off of piles of rubble. Guided by our own empathy, and desire to help one another. Again, you are the admin here. Neither myself nor any other member should dictate what is written or responded to within these walls. But, I urge caution. We must attempt to understand a thing, before summary judgement appeals to a misguided opinion about that thing.
I do know what I said - in the context of the original thread I felt your video was posted in an attempt at trolling for reactions not as any attempt to be constructive. That may be your message in the video but it most certainly was not the response it was going to get or the intent of the person who posted it. This is why I responded in the tone I did. I have no interest in any religions but I do feel that situations like the loss of life incurred in this tragedy should be discussed with dignity and respect to those involved. Civilized behaviour is best defined as following and respecting the social conventions of the social group you belong to. I can assure you I am quite civilised to the extent I consider others feelings before acting or speaking.
As I tried to explain earlier - it was wildly inappropriate in that thread and at that time. Do you not see that there are times where expressing your opinion is a rude and unacceptable breach of basic human decency?
Try and fathom the ineffable all you like but there are times when the human thing to do is to say " I'm sorry for your loss" and keep the ruminations to yourself. This was one of them and the poster instead used your video to try and cause disruption not peace or understanding.
Your video remains posted in this very section where it is visible to all who have internet access.
I am glad you were not brought here through the actions of others though. And feel free to post up a thread showing off Charlie.

This tragedy was and currently is being attended to by human hands. The only thing your god can take the credit for is "creating" the reality that made that tornado possible. That sir - is the most repugnant position of all. People from Moore have responded to the video in comments, as well as my facebook page. They are comforted that PEOPLE are donating to the red cross, and will soon be doing whatever else is needed for the people suffering through this event. The difference between you and me, is that I will do it for the love of my fellow man, and you will do it for the pretense of penitence.
It's a little unfair to dismiss all other motivations for others actions aside from the worst based purely on their religion. Once might almost say intolerant in fact. Why can't a Christian be as nice a person as you are?

I don't labor under the delusion that my opinion here garners any weight at all. My video was maligned, and I came to its defense. Seems a pretty simple response to me.
TBH the video content was maligned because of the surrounding situation. I am ambivalent towards dynamite but exceedingly against it when someone lights the fuse on a stick and tries to post it through my letterbox.

I imagine you're a member on quite a few forums, probably for the same reason you joined this one? 'Following your video' and trying to spread your beliefs.
No one complained about your video, no one cares. What people care about is the context in which it was used. Your video is more than welcome in the quarantine area-due to it's religious nature. Although, it's shameful you feel the need to shove your anti-religious beliefs down people's throats. I don't believe in organized religion, but you don't see me going around poking fun at people that do. People have their reasons for believing, let them, at least those people will forgive you for your ignorance.

Re: Removed from the Oaklahoma twister thread
That's the greatest oxymoron I've ever seen about atheist.
"Hey, you can't shove religious agendas and views down my throat! But, here's my atheist agenda and views so I can shove them down your throat about how wrong you are!"
Take an axe to your high horse and move on. If you think religion should shut up; do so yourself.
