One other note it is not a good idea to run a thermostat cord in contact with a power cord. They can interfere with each other.

Make sure you check the temp at the highest place the snake can manage to get on. (top of the hide under the RHP) no place the snake can get to and stay should be over 95ºF this is the trick part of RHPs they are very hard to control in low enclosures, UTHs are far easier to manage and create a horizontal gradient and not a vertical one.
