    Opinions on this Pastel Girl?

I know everyone and their mother thinks their ball python is something special, but I'm just wanting some second opinion(s) on our new pastel girl. She's one of the nicest little pastels I've ever come across even if she's a little "dirty" as far as speckling in her pattern. Pictures just do not do her justice. She's just a really pretty pastel.

Her parents are unknown, she's around 100g. Pardon the fuzzy pictures and bad lighting. I can get some better ones if anyone's curiosity is piqued. Our plans are to pair her with a YB-combo male. Thanks for taking a peek!

Shes a normal looking pastel. My guess is she will brown out with age, at least on her back. Not hating, just my opinion, but not a bad looking pastel either way.

x2. If that's her at 100 grams, she's probably going to brown out. Maybe it's just the lighting and her darks look darker than they actually are. Can we get some pics of her out in natural light?

    x3. The browns get browner.

But its unusual looking for a pastel, maybe something else is in there, the dark areas are really very dark. I see pastel but i also see something dark.

I'm thinking it's just the strange lighting (white light really does nothing for a pastel in photos) and she'll look much different in sunlight.

Appears to be a regular, decent quality pastel. She has decent yellows, but will almost certain have a very browned back in adulthood though.

Re: Opinions on this Pastel Girl?

Thanks for the responses! Yes, the lighting and overall photo quality is poor. It is storming heavily here today, but if it has cleared up tomorrow I will try to get some pictures in natural lighting.

We have another pastel that is from the NERD "lemon" line, and it wasn't quite as nice as her to start with and did brown out. Still a pretty pastel, but even at this size it wasn't as nice as she is. Haven't really worked with pastels much, so thought I'd see what everyone here thought

She's dark, but not quite as dark as the pictures are making her look. I personally don't foresee there being any hidden morphs in there. I just thought she was a very nice pastel and wanted to see what everyone thought about her in comparison to other pastels, but from what everyone is saying she's rather average... And that's alright, I'm certainly new to the base pastel as a morph. She's only my second pastel. Just learning to appreciate the variety of such a simple gene!

The weather has been crappy, but I tried to get a few pics in what natural light I had to work with. It was overcast, but here's the best I could do.
