    new snake owner humidity question?

    Hey ive had my snake for 3 weeks now, and shes great! however her humidity is really high, like 80% and ive taken her water out for a little while, and changed her bedding. still up really high. shes in a ten gallon tank with screen top on aspen bedding. her temp is 90F any help?

    Have you tried switching out the hygrometer? Aspen doesn't usually hold that much humidity unless it's blatantly wet, so I think your equipment might be off. What are you using to measure it (digital/analog, brand, etc.)?

    Off-topic - Is her hot spot 90deg, or her whole tank? She should have a temp gradient of 90deg hot spot and ~78-82deg "cool" end/ambient.

    yes she does have a hot and cold side im sorry for my wording. im using an anolog...I had a hunch that it might be off. thanks for the info
