Royal abandoned eggs
My spider girl laid 5 healthyish eggs but when I checked to see if she was done the eggs were just there and mum curled next to them? I did wonder if they were all infirtile but once I got them in their incubating tub and candled them they all had veins ? She's a first time mum ?
Any help would be great x

They don't look like they had fully calcified x

Sometimes females do that. Not sure why, but the eggs should be fine now that they are in the incubator.

Re: Royal abandoned eggs
in a documentary about wild BPs in africa, they showed that the female will often leave the clutch and return later. if its too cold for the eggs, the mother will go out into the sun and allow herself to reach a really high body temperature and then return.
so in captivity, if they dont sit on the eggs 24/7, i would suspect its just normal.
