Hey everyone. Ok so I have my first clutch coming in the next few days and I'm stressing over some stuff I'm sure I don't even need to be. A friend of mine is a experienced breeder and helping me tons. So my biggest question is humidity. I have Zoo-Meds simple Reptibator being that I have only one clutch. We've got it filled with water and maintaining temperature with a better thermometer than the one it comes equipped with. However, I cant seem to manage my humidity. Temps stay between 88-89 but cant get my humidity over 88. My hygrometer has a plus minus range of 6 degrees and I've experimented with a few egg boxes between vermiculite hatch rite and perlite with all different kinds of water levels added. Is my humidity level ok to begin with. And would you say my meter just isn't on point. Thanks for your advice ahead of time! The wait for my eggs is killing me too haha![]()
