    Can't find her anywhere

I'm really bummed out right now. My newest addition got out of her tub sometime in the last few days and between yesterday and this morning I've searched everywhere for her. Closets, underneath my bed, living room, laundry room, kitchen, etc. She did poop in my closet, but seems to be no where near there anymore. My biggest problem is that I got a new job 70 miles away, and I start tomorrow. So there will be days I don't come home, and I'm in the process of moving stuff out little by little even though I dont technically have to move out till the end of summer.

Another problem is my roommates aren't snake people, they wouldn't hurt her I'd just rather find her before they do. But they will also be moving out in the next couple weeks. I left a rat in a container and put a hot spot with a hide underneath my bed last night, and nothing . Im lost right now on what to do and where to look. I thought she might be in the basement, but its cold there and I'm two levels above. I'm losing hope that she's still in my room.

On a side note my horoscope says "a treasured possession is missing and no matter where you look, you wont be able to find it. This could stimulate your determination, and might end up searching for hours. The object is in the house, but it's probably under something, perhaps in a place you would never dream of looking. Check the biggest rooms in the house."

By the way she's only 350 grams

If you found evidence of her there and haven't seen anything else why are you concluding that she "seems to be no where near there anymore"?

I've never had an escape, but from threads I've seen on here most people find them not far from their enclosure. Having the hotspot and f/t available is a good idea. Look for snug and/or warm places.

    Best of luck finding her.

LOL I think it is very comical that she pooped in your closet! Its like a little note... "Come and get me!! Or I will poop on your stuff!!"

She is somewhere just waiting for you to find her. Try not to panic. I know it is really hard. I had a snake escape last week and I had a mini panic attack. Luckily I found him in about 20 minutes in a box under some papers.

Get on the ground and crawl around like a snake. Start from the enclosure and work outwards. Keep doors closed if you can and try and shove something in between the gap on the bottom so the snake can't get out of the room.

Check shoes, boxes, clothes, books, speakers (subwoofers), computers. I don't often find snakes near something that is warm. They are usually somewhere that is snug and they feel safe.

If you are in the process of moving, your house might be a little messy, correct? Try cleaning up and going through every belonging you have. You will find her eventually.

I've noticed you either find them within the first hour, or it takes a few days. I hope there are no gaps in your flooring or walls where the snake could escape into the house. My house is sealed up tight and all my vents are on the ceiling so there aren't many places for snakes to hide. On the rare occasion that one goes missing, they are found the same day.

Only because I've cleared out the entire closet and looked in every possible place in the room. The poop was dry when I found it so I'm not sure when she did it, no more than 3 or 4 days though.

I took a little break but will start from the beginning right now. I'll go through everything I have. The reason I'm more worried now and losing hope she's in the same room is because the door was cracked the last few days(I noticed she was missing yesterday). I'm still shocked she managed to get out of her tub. I had a larger female escape well over a year ago but found her within the day.

Take a deep breath. She'll go to somewhere warm and dark. Start with the room she was in and move outward. Check under and behind appliances. Keep calm and ask your roommates to double check everything they have. Shake out piles of clothes, anything at all a snake could hide in or under. They're not going to be happy to start unpacking and find your snake in their t-shirts.

If the door was open, she might have traveled outside of the room. Once you are certain she is not in the original room, time to start looking in other parts of the house.

Still nothing. Ive double and triple checked the original room. I will ask my roommates to check their rooms when they're home. In the meantime I have a second set of eyes coming to help. I've looked through parts of the basement, and all the other places I listed. I'm just worried what will happen if I don't find her today. Thanks for the help.

Most ball pythons are found in a 4ft radius of their homes. Don't panic. if you don't find her right away, I bet you find her when you're moving and packing things up. Best of luck.

My girl escaped once And my wife and I looked everywhere. Finally I started pulling out furniture all over the house and found her wedged up between the dresser and wall not 3 foot from her enclosure. She was about 2 foot up. This was after we spent about 4 hours tearing our house apart. Hope you find her. I know it sucks.
