Fire Ball python with no eyes
There is a craigslist ad that is advertising a fire ball python that has no eyes and only eat live for 100$. It comes with a vision cage. Good value?

Personally, I'd like to own a BP without eyes regardless of morph so I say yeah, its a good deal!

Re: Fire Ball python with no eyes
you shouldnt breed it since you dont know if the missing eyes are genetic.
with such a big defect its more of a rescue, if breeders hit a defect like that they usually give it away for free and are happy if they find a suitable home for it.
but people that have eyeless or blind BPs usually say they still make good pets and are easy to care for. The sense of smell and the heat pits compensate.
i dont know. if the equipment that comes with it is nice and you are willing to care for an eyeless BP, why not. But i really wouldnt put a price on a more-or-less rescue.

thanks I have no intentions on breeding it. Just as a pet.`

I can't see the pic, but the cage is probably worth close to $100.

All of that together is worth more than $100, so it's a good deal.
I know there is at least one member on here that has/had an eyeless bp that does great.

Re: Fire Ball python with no eyes
Gale has hatched an eyeless fire due to an incubation issue. Check out the Birth Defect Documentary thread.
She also has an unrelated eyeless adult who is thriving as well.
