The nicer ones should retain the colour and develop some orange/yellow tones on their sides but I'd seen Enchis with really nice patterns but have the colours of a normal, save for some coloured flecking towards their bellies.

I do really like the head pattern on this guy but the rest of him isn't really my cup of tea. I think Enchi patterns should generally look more uniform than this.
