That, or save up for ultramels.
Is the 2nd one down a green ghost? It looks like the female from my pair, although they are young and keep changing with each shed.

I'd go with piebald. Pick up a couple of 100% het females, raise them up, then get a nice pied male. 50% chance at pied per egg, and the others are 100% het.

Now as to why pied: there will always be a market for them, and being recessive makes them harder to produce. So, high demand and low supply means they will be easy for you to sell, and easier to break even on your investment. Also, they are definitely one of easiest morphs to recognize (along with albino), so someone who isn't familiar with ball pythons can look at a pied and think "Wow, that's amazing", but a clown to them might look like just another snake. So, I'd say they have a larger market as well. The same can be said for albino, but I don't find them as striking. I chose to do both
1.0 Pied 0.1 Pied het Albino
1.0 Albino het Pied 0.1 Hog Island Boa
0.1 het Albino, 50% het Pied 0.1 Black lab

If you like pieds, get a pied. Also, if price is an issue, female clowns are more than female pieds. I like them both though.

No, no Jerry. I think you meant to type Hypo > Clown > Lav Albino > Albino > Pied.

I'm with Jerry on this one.

Clown all the way! I love clowns. Wish I had one to post a picture of.

Snow clown (axanthic albino clown) its a long project but worth it. Don't think anyone has produced one yet.
