    Hides

I purchased a 1500 gram female just over one month ago. She hasn't eaten for me yet and I've tried all the different "flavors" of food but no luck yet. I contacted the seller, he said he tried to breed her before selling her but wasn't sure if there was a lock or not.
She shed on April 6. Could be pre lay, could not.
Here's my question. Should I remove her hide if she's pregnant or leave it in?

I'm pretty certain (like 99%) that you can leave the hide in.

Some leave it in, some take it out. I would leave it in for the time being. More than likely, if she lays eggs, she will push the hide towards the front of the rack and lay her eggs behind the hide. Sometimes they will lay inside... it all really depends. For her feeling secure in a new place, I would leave it in.

I don't see how it would matter either way. None of my adults have hides so I haven't had to deal with hides and eggs myself.
