So what makes a good pinstripe? What do you look for color and pattern wise?
When I bought Allure I just wanted a morph. I didn't know what I wanted but I wanted a white and black snake (it wasn't until I joined here and was pointed at the firefly axanthics and looked them up that I realized that wasn't happening without a LOT of dough or years of breeding). I was going to get a bee because that was the closest to white as I was going to get and I loved the spider gene. I decided not to at because I just didn't want to deal with the wobble. Garrick recomended a pinstripe then instead and said he'd have more posted in a few days. lol I stalked that page until they came up. When I saw him I knew he was the one. I loved his golden sunsety colors and the way his stripe was all broken up more like the spider gene. I never planned on breeding.
Lately I've been thinking about when I do breed, how I could put Allure to use. I've been wondering if he's not breeder quality because of that broken pattern now. I really dig it but I don't know if others do. If he's not good for just plain pinstripes what about making jigsaws?
Ok this is Garrick's picture and was his sale photo. I've taken other shots of him but the good ones are when he was in shed. Sometime in the next month or two I'll get some nice ones.
