How can I tell if my albino is bcc or bci
Hey guys I just got my first boa, and I'm not sure if she's bcc or bci, is there any way to tell?

It was about 4 years ago that a pure bcc albino was being offered for sale for $50 000.
I'm guessing your new pet is more than likely bci.

well pics would help us determine which it is, but more than likely its bci. I haven't seen a pure bcc albino yet. there are bcc bci crosses out there and yours could be a mix but more than likely its a bci as that is the most common.

Agreed. An albino pure BCC is going to be very few and far between. It is possible that your albino BCI could have BCC influence, but that is also fairly rare. Those working with BCCs strive to keep even the localities pure so finding a morph in BCCs is 1 in a 1000. So, even without pictures, I can nearly gaurantee that yours is a BCI. But pictures would say for sure and we like to see pics anyway.....

I'd go with above that pretty much verbatim. If it's a morph, 99.9% its a BCI.
BTW,, there is NOTHING wrong with BCI boas. I love localities and purity.
That said, locality lover or not,, too me BCI is not a "lesser" snake than a BCC. They all have their beautiful qualities.
I can say as BCI owner, my snake is my FAVORITE snake. That's how it should be IMO. Get what makes you the happiest and don't worry if a snake snob thinks less of you because of the last letter in the BC type LOL.
But I also understand if you are just curious.
Post a few photos. If its a boa its cool and we all like cool boas!!

1 way is the shape of the head. BCC have longer more narrow/arrow shaped heads.
