I could always take it out if this is going to pose any issues to her. I just figured it would be easier than having to spray her cage 15 times a day.

I don't think it'd pose a threat just maybe dry out quicker and not be as effective. Also I know how you feel my normal is afraid of a live rat pup I put it in his tub and it ended up in his hot hide. Snake left yhe hide and ran to cool side! Lol so I just let him have his f/t mice and he snatches them up every time.
