I've been eyeing VPI snow females as a great genetic value for a while now. I don't know anything about how good they look in person or age or even compare one to the next but I think breeding one to a pied would be awesome from a genetic standpoint. Sure in the next generation the odds of hitting a snow pied are only 1 in 64 per egg but the odds of hatching a normal from a pair of triple hets also go down to 27 in 64 and the variety in the clutch should be a lot of fun on hatching day.

I can't comment on the quality, but it's really pretty! It's really up to you and what you are looking for.

Personal preference on snows to have more yellow/higher contrast. Can make white snakes without it being double recessive.

Higher contrast usually yields higher quality axanthics and albinos IMO also.
1.1 Fire
0.1 Black Pewter
1.1 Het pied
0.1 Pied
0.1 VPI Axanthic het Albino
I want to meet people.

Re: Quality VPI snow?
VPI snows are lovely and the adults are still gorgeous-I saw a couple last year and they are really really nice in the flesh. They are not white snakes and very different from either BEL's or super fires. That is a very pretty snake and I wouldn't hesitate to buy, particularly as the basis for some great recessive projects. I hope to hatch one one day and have a lovely male albino 66% het VPI snow + female het albinos and het plus visual VPI axanthics to work towards this, although it's going to take a couple of generations minimum even when my female axanthic gets up to breeding size. The thought of adding pied in to that as well is insane.
