So I go to school at an online art class, right? Well right now I'm doing perspective drawing and we had to choose some things in the room to draw without using perspective to do it, practicing sighting and what not. Well, we write critiques about eachothers work. The critique I got was upsetting, instead of focusing on my artwork (only saying that it would have looked better with a background which I had none in the room) she said how gross it was that I have snakes and thanked me for not actually showing my snakes in the pictures.

I was appalled, insulted, and I really felt angry at the person. How dare she judge me, someone who she's never met before, because I have snakes and on top of which THANK ME for not showing the snakes in the photographs of the item we were drawing. Oh I was so mad.
Considering a lot of my art is actually from my snakes or inspired by snakes, I was irritated. So I simply replied: "I'm sorry you feel the need to express your hatred for snakes in front of a reptile enthusiast who owns two of her own. Just so you know Pet Snakes are nothing to be fearful of, and instead they are beautiful and friendly critters to hold and view. I'm sorry you fear them, and further more I'm sorry you had to THANK ME for not showing off what I am very proud of."

I hate people.
