CB 70, VB 70, etc -- Tub Dimensions

Working on design plans for a new rack and would appreciate if someone could post dimensions for the cb70 tubs ands any other tub that's similar (without the lids). I usually build my racks around the tub, but wanted to make something a little more versatile this time if possible.

I have a few cb70s ordered but have also considered using the vb70 based on some reviews.

    Thanks in advance future repliers.

Google is your friend... a simple google search for "CB-70 tub dimensions" will tell you exactly what you want to know.

    IRIS CB-70: 33.5" x 17.75" x 6"
    V-70: 34" x 17.5" x 5.3"
    ARS 70 series tubs: 33" x 17" x 5.25"

Re: CB 70, VB 70, etc -- Tub Dimensions

I should have been a little more specific in my inquiry. I had previously found those dimensions on google and the manufacturers' sites, but thought it was fair to assume that would include the height with the lids attached. As I'm not able to get my hands on any of these, I thought someone might be able to contribute as to what the actual height is without the lids.

thank you for the google result summary though

When I asked Rich at RBI about v70 tubs fitting in his cb70 racks he said they definitely fit if that's what you're trying to figure out.

Re: CB 70, VB 70, etc -- Tub Dimensions

That is helpful. I guess my main concern is having a height of 6.25" due to building it out using a sterlite 41 qt and then switching over to a vb70 and there being too much of a gap.

Those are heights without the lids...

V-70's and ARS 70 series tubs don't even have lids in the first place.

Re: CB 70, VB 70, etc -- Tub Dimensions

I bought Sterilite 41 qt tubs from Walmart last week. Do your own measurements on them. I did and found out that the height and length are about a half inch shorter than listed on the label. I also made a point to measure the dimensions of the top and the bottom of the tub. I decided to build my rack shelves an extra half inch wide so it will also hold CB-70 tubs in the future if I decide to upgrade.

Thanks, I just assumed that the IRIS would have included the lids in there measurements.

Interesting ... I actually was going to purchase these after the delivery of my cb-70 order fell through last weekend, but wasn't able to find these in my local stores. I've since ordered the cb-70s online and should have them by tomorrow.

Thanks to everyone for your help. I'll try to remember to follow up with some pics of the rack once its finished.
