    News on my bp

So, he won't eat rats but he has been very reactive towards mice! He has now eaten five every Saturday! He is really doing well and I'd like to thank all of y'all for the great threads and advice! I am now started with my first mouse breeding attempt, love this bp and all to go with it!!

Mice are fine, especially for someone with only a few snakes. People just don't like the hassle of it, but if that's what he eats, might as well feed it to him.
Good luck with your mouse breeding! Should be easy. Remember to separate the pregnant females.

I have one who will also only eat mice. Shake a rat pup in front of him and he will defensively strike it over and over but soon as you shake a mouse in front of him he wraps it right up. Mice aren't bad for them just as they grow the amount of mice you'll have to give grows too.
