    Got me some blood!

    Welp! Got my first blood python today! It's name is Sixx after my hero! I don't know if it's a male or female or if the coloring is anything special but I thought this was an AWESOME looking snake and is really healthy! Let me know if you guys see anything special in this one =)

    1.0 Normal- Draco
    1.0 AFT- Grimm
    1.0 Service Dog- Kelevra

    Very nice addition!

    I started with an adult female and fell in love with her immediately. I like balls but have been content with one. Bloods turned out to be my niche. Now I have four and hope to breed them one day. I really love their heavy build.

    I love the look of bloods, wouldn't mind adding one to my collection. But ive heard they can be pretty nippy. Is this the case?

    I have three balls and I love them dearly but I'm totally loving this species too! He is a super grump but I think it was due to extreme stress, when he was in the bags on the way home he was content and calm but as soon as he was exposed he was a challenge lol as you can see in the pic. I got a snake hook and I'm going to get some gloves and just totally get him used to being held once he acclimates

    My three young ones were very nippy the first week I had them. Now they have calmed down alot and I can't remember the last time one took a shot at me.

    My big girl is a puppy dog and I trust her completely. She is not even that head shy.

    I LOVE the look of bloods. But after 2 years of having my albino blood, he just never calmed down. He was always nippy,never liked handling. I love the looks and I'm okay with the occasional nip. But personally I can't handle a 30lb angry beast. He traumatized my gf so I probably won't be getting another, sadly
