I know what genes you add is usually largely based on what you like, but I figured I'd see what everyone's opinions were anyways! Right now we have 0.1 Lesser with a gorgeous reduced, clean pattern and 0.1 Pewter 66% poss het pied. The first male we're going to pick up is (obviously) 1.0 visual pied so we can prove out the Pewter gal, and hopefully make some Lesser 100% het pieds while we're at it. But after that, we were thinking of keeping a 100% het visual son of the pied male and selling the pied male so we can pick up a few more. So what do you guys think? What males would match up well with our girls?

Me too!! As far as pewters go, she's keeping her extremely high contrast and not browning out much so far... That plus her crazy pattern (which I attribute to the pied gene -- fingers crossed!) makes her just perfect as far as I'm concerned. Can't wait to see her babies....

Maybe a lemon blast would be a good choice.

Or something like a mojave to have a chance at producing a BEL.
