I use a black night time heating lamp in my 10 gal. tank and I leave it on all the time, because I know it will get too cold if I don't..at least until Spring/Summer weather finally kicks in anyway. Any who, while we're on the topic of heating lamps, I have a question regarding how long your lamps usually last. I bought a bulb when I bought my first BP a couple months ago and it deciding to go out on me while I was sleeping a couple days ago. I woke up and saw that the temp had dropped to the 60's. I thankfully had a second bulb on hand and replaced it right away. I'm just curious if this is about how long I should expect my bulbs to last? Just a couple months?
