New Addition Dwarf Goldenchild Retic
Well, with females getting up in size, and breeding plans lining up, I needed / wanted to add one more male to my collection of Dwarf / Superdwarf reticulated pythons, and one breeding that caught my eye was a Lavender Goldenchild x Jampea producing 50% Jampea (dwarf) Goldenchild het Albino Reticulated Pythons. So without further ado . . . here is my new boy! Weight 124 grams on arrival
No name yet . . .
Cheers,

Looks great! The albino goldenchild is one of the best (IMO) goldenchild morphs there are. Just seems to do a little extra to those recessive genes.

One of the crosses he will go into is with my Motley Tiger het Purple 25% SD 12.5% Dwarf girl. Not sure which season they will end up together, but at least one season, the genetics of that cross should be able to produce a Motley Tiger Goldenchild Lavander Albino with 31.25% Jampea 12.5% Kalatoa blood, so almost 50% dwarf. Should do some intense things to the over all look. The Jampea makes Goldenchilds turn red (the crosses have only been done 2-3 times at this point). And the SD blood in my Motley Tiger reduces the pattern and makes it a crazy clean sided snake. Gotta love my retics!!! And the fact that all but 2 are het Albino, so all my clutches will produce albinos, and the ones that do not will be 100% het for Anery ;-)
