Nope, not as big as T. Blondi, T. Stirmi or T. Apophysis. Those three (Goliath Birdeater, Burgundy Birdeater, Pinktoe Goliath) are the still the largest with leg spans reaching 10+. Poecilotheria Rajaei (The one just found) is only 8 inches and about the size of of a normal Pokey. As of now, since it's found only in Sri Lanka, it's illegal to import them as the laws in that country don't allow for it, but poaching can be a very real threat. Even if it is poached tho, I doubt anyone would want it then in the US because they'll get in trouble over it.

New giant poecilotheria discovered?
P. rufilata and P. ornata (I have read) can get 8"+
An arboreal T is not going to be a heavier bodied T like LPs or the Goliaths

How do you think bearded dragons and a ton of other animals got here lol...?
The good thing with T's like this one are that even if you only bring a few pairs over and can get them to successfully mate, you'll have HUNDREDS of babies. I bet you'll see them in the hobby soon enough.
(Not condoning illegal activities, just speculating...)

Yes, I understand that part, but after viewing a discussion on another forum, they said even if they are poached back to the US, whoever is reported to have them or selling them will get in trouble. That's what I meant.

At least that's what I heard, and sorry if I came off rude ._.

Whoever is selling meth is doing an illegal activity yet plenty don't get lol.
The people that get their hands on them will know what to do. Just because you stress the consequences of an act does not mean the act won't be performed by certain people.
EDIT: I didn't take that as rude at all lol. Idk what I'm talking about since I haven't heard much about them. Like I said, I was only speculating.
