Winston sent me this pic of my Hidden Gene Woma Pinstripe gal taking down a rat. I love it when they dart out of the hide, ambush style!

Never mind the dirty water bowl, we have hard water and it gets the bowl yucky fast. I clean them while they are eating. Snagging it out of the tongs, mid air.

a big thing that sucked me into this hobby and still fascinates me just as much as the first time i witnessed it: feeding time. a lot of people outside the hobby will never understand.. even find it disturbing. that's why i won't post feeding pictures on instagram or other non reptile forums i'm on, because a lot of people don't get it.. and i understand where they're coming from. that's one reason (of many) i'm thankful like-minded people like us can come together on forums like these and share what we love. snakes feed unlike just about any other creature on this planet. they move unlike any other creature on this planet. that's what makes them so unique and fascinating. nature is a beautiful thing.
