Question HELP NEEDED - One of my Ball Pythons got Stuck in a Laundry Basket

Yesterday, I adopted two ball pythons. I am new to owning them; however, I have taken care of one before. One of my female ball pythons found her way into a laundry basket. She was stuck and could not make it through. I tried to use my hand to guide her out without any luck, and then I tried pulling her backwards through one of the holes. She was truly stuck. It took her a while but she pulled herself forward as hard as she could. She made it out, but some parts of her skin has peeled off. She was blue yesterday, and so I know she is about to shed. However, it wasn't time. Is she in any pain from being stuck or from the skin peeling? Please Help.
