Just make sure he gives him a couple of days to relax before feeding day (no handling).

Welcome to the addiction, tho I'd suggest he holds off of handling for a few days, then feed and wait 24 hrs after feeding before handling.
Good luck with the BP I absolutely love normals!!!!!

Told him no more handling until Monday after school. That will be a day before feeding & a day after. Hopfully he will eat. Were told He has always eaten good (F/T) but this will be our first feeding. Have studied all I could, so we will see!!

Good luck with your grandson's new pet.
I hoe they enjoy each others company for many years to come.
I love sharing this stuff with kids. The time spent researching their particular interests and sharing what you have already learned makes for some serious quality time. Super cool when they get so into something they start digging on their own and start teaching you stuff.
