    Inquiry: Feedersource (com) Feeders

Hello. This is my first post- I should have signed up for your site awhile back - google searches tend to go here.
Anyway... I have been trying to decide if I want to order Frozen rodents online - I don't like the high shipping charges- but buying them at a pet store is very pricy.

I am going to check out Repticon this coming weekend and one of the venders there is Feedersource.com.
I emailed them about gram weight and they promptly replied. There doesn't seem to be any other compaines that are primarily feeder salers at this particular show. (In colorado.) I tried to do a search on reviews for this company - and came up with this thread:

    http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...edersource.com

but they are only mentioned in passing and no one gave a real review.

It appears they sell mostly at repticon. Has anyone here bought from them? Can someone give me a review?

IF I missed a thread, I'm sorry and please direct me to it. (I did a search on here directly and only found the thread I posted above.)

I'm about ready to reply to email them again to ask if they would be willing to hold an order for me at the show. (I so do NOT want to get there and find out they don't have what I want - it's out of my way to drive to the show - and it doesn't look like anyone else has what I want either so I'm primarly going to go to the show for the feeders.)

    Thank you for your time!

    - Sharon

    Re: Inquiry: Feedersource (com) Feeders

I've had to buy feeders from them at shows before because I only need a very small order and it wasn't enough to warrant paying for shipping.

The feeders were mediocre at best (at least for me). They smell (at least the mice do) and they are just thrown into a bag and frozen/air locked. Limbs were broken and the feeders weren't laying flat. Basically: the packaging wasn't all that appealing.

However, my snakes don't seem to care what the feeders looked like and they ate them anyway.

Feedersource is great for small orders at shows, but not someone I would buy my bulk feeders from to have them shipped.
