    Building my rack

    finished putting in shelves and put on a base plate and castors. Now heat tape and wiring is next :p

    ^^^ i second that. I just built my rack a few months ago and just ordered the clips already wired. But I used one long piece of heat tape instead of daisy chaining em. How are you going to do the heat tape? Also, I noticed your in Denver dude, I just moved out here about a year ago, hit me up if you ever wanna talk snakes. Good luck! do you already have a thermostat? keep us posted.

    Cool! Welcome to the mile high! I'm gunna run each strip through the rack and I yeah I just got my t-stat a week or two ago its a vivarium electronics. Probably going to upgrade when I got the money to get a nicer t-stat.

    Most of the tubs in it and moved out of the garage so our dog won't use it as a marking post ha.

    Edging isn't just for aesthetics you should put edging on the back as well and be sure to seal the joints with something. Many new particle boards out gas/leach phenols (same as cedar) and it is a full unknown how much and what can effect the health of a snake (the same can be said about formeldahydes in the older boards)
