Over these couple weeks i've noticed my BP's belly has been getting more red, at first i thought it was shed, but shed process couldn't possibly take this long. I've noticed this since about 3 weeks ago. Her belly went from pink and now to more light red... i'm thinking she's been burnt? i don't see how because the hot spot is not hot enough to burn her, (92 max) and she never digs under to the glass. And if she's been burnt, does it heal? or is it permanent?
What are you reading temps with?
Of course it's bad if the snake is getting burned, take some pics and show them so we can determine if it is a burn or not.
