Any non kill snake traps?

Well my snake got out, trying to find him as I write this.
But i'm wondering are there any snake traps? That don't kill or traumatize it. Just something were I can bait it with a dead/live rat and have it a one way in and no way out. I don't want it to be sticky, or something he can injure himself in.
The snake is about 1-2feet, it's a ball python.

I'm going to do all the tricks to try and find him the common ways, Heat pad on floor, bite a cage with a rat, poor a rice trail at all doors, and a good hide.

You could try a minnow trap design. Thay's all I can think of aside from tape but that's sticky and you don't want that.
