Mowed My Lawn For The First Time This Weekend

Spent the last of my tax return money on a lawn mower and mowed my lawn. I hadn't touched a lawn mower since moving out of my parents house nearly a decade ago. Going shopping for one was unique. No two stores carried the same brands so I had to compare features and prices. I ended up getting a Troybuilt FWD mulcher with optional bagger and side-discharge from Lowes. It was $20 cheaper than the equivalents from Home Depot and Sears. I remembered I hated bagging when mowing my parents lawn so I had to have mulcher so I didn't have to worry about it.

Now I have to go pull weeds next weekend. Fun stuff.

Troybuilt is a great brand, it'll last just as long as it's been since you've had to mow!

I think mulching keeps the lawn in way better condition then bagging does. the not having to dump all that grass out is just an added bonus. and i have to say i'm super jealous cause it is refusing to get warm here this spring. my grass is not even growing yet.

I quit my last job when I realized my next promotion would land me in Minneapolis. I'll keep the Sunny South, thank you!
