She is near a year old, eats like a pig and has shed 4 times so far.. She's gone from 15 grams to 169 grams at present.. You can bet your last dollar that all that has crossed our mind as well..

Now, I could handle a blood her size, she'd fit right in with my ball pythons. Do you worry if her size and development may have made her unsuitable for breeding?

Was wondering the same thing in regards to her even physically being able to breed or not someday. Only shed 4 times in a year, huh? Is that normal?

This type animal often goes 3-5 months before it's 1st shedding, so 4 sheds in 10 months is GOOD growth..

But what happened ??
It was a typical clutch of full size eggs and full size babies, less her..
If the umbilical was choked or crimped wouldn't one suspect the embryo would then starve for lack of food..?
She is not the typical pin headed runt that refused to feed and perished.. She is proportionally correct and apparently so far internally correct..
I can only figure that it started at the 1st stage and made do with what it received..
