Growing super slow???
My dumerils and brb seem to be growing like weeds, the other 2 boas not so much. But I've seen lots of people say boas grow slow, especially the dumerils. I don't really find this true, I think its about each individual animal itself, rather than species or sub species. I feed all of my small boas the same, every 7-10 days, which will rise to 10-14 once they are bigger sub adults.
Anyone else have this experience?

Yes, between my six boas they all have different growth rates (all were on the same schedule).
My jungle male took off and hit huge spurts early while my hypo girl and albino girl have been more regular with their spurts and are still on the smaller side in comparison to the male. My Hog girl hit spurts early but she's really slowed down within the last several months, and my yearling BCO Argentine male is growing slower overall than my BCO female who's just been growing and growing since getting her.

My Dumeril's grew so slow, she always seemed to be at a complete stand-still. The only way I knew she was growing was when my friends would come over and say HOLY COW is that the same snake!? She's DOUBLED in size!!!
I weigh my snakes occasionally, but not enough to keep up, and so far I haven't found a container big enough to sit on the scale that will also contain her, so I haven't weighed her in awhile, lol.
I notice the same thing with ball pythons too though, our POG is getting seriously massive and she has been on the same schedule as any of our other snakes. As long as they are eating, growing, gaining weight, etc, I think they will all be fine and grow at their own pace!

Re: Growing super slow???
Every snake is different but on a whole boas do grow slow. I've got 2013 baby boas that are various sizes all from the same litters and have had the exact same # and size of meals. My adult female dum doesn't show any signs of slowing down she may end up being on the bigger end of the scale where as my subadult male dum pounds food and doesn't seem to gain an ounce. Lol

x 2. And slower is better for boas! They will be healthier overall.
My 2 hypo Colombians are moderate growers right now, while my sunglow is very slow to put on weight. My Dumerils seems to be slower too. My 2 Argentines are faster - the male seems to be 2 inches longer every darn time I open the tub and the female is going to do the same even though she's not hit that growth spurt just yet (she's younger too so she just hasn't reached that point). Boas usually grow very slowly for the first year, then seem to hit a point where they spurt, then they'll slow down for a bit. It does just depend on the individual.
