Summer Adding to Collection
Hi everyone! I am thinking about what I would like to eventually add to my collection. Currently I have a big normal female and a 350 gram male albino. I maybe getting my breeder spider male back this summer for free as a proven breeder. He was my first morph and the man who bought him along with another snake, said I could gladly have him back after breeding season.
This is so far what I have been thinking of:
-pied (or pastel pied) female; 50/50 or 40/60% white
-Genetic Stripe female (I am leaning towards maybe something extra gene wise in there, but then again I really like the GS how they are alone. Thoughts?)
-Hypo female (I want something dark with hypo. Maybe a mojave, cinnamon, black pastel, etc)
-Caramel female (Maybe a caramel glow instead of the dark morph hypo)
I am trying my hardest to stay within 5-6 snakes total as I am a full time college student and possibly becoming full time at my job along with moving within the next year or two.
I am looking for average prices and thoughts.

Re: Summer Adding to Collection
these are all recessive genes, if you breed albino to genetic stripe for example, you get normal looking snakes that are het for albino and het for genetic stripe.
you should maybe consider codominant morphs. combining codominant morphs is easy and can be done in 1 generation, combining a codom and a recessive is a bit harder and takes 2 generastions minimum, combining two recessive genes is the hardest to do and takes 2 generations, or if the odd gods arent with you on a 1 in 16 chance when breeding double het to double het, even 3 generations.

I know they are all recessive. I am breeding yet. More for pets but thanks for your input.
